W: A Poem

In anticipation of President Bush's promised VETO of the Congressional measure expanding health care coverage for America's poorest kids, and in exercise of my First Amendment right to criticize the most despicable individual ever to hold the office of President, I offer this heartfelt poem.

Woefully unprepared.

Willfully blind.

Wickedly deceitful.

Wildly delusional.

Witless.

Worthless.

Wanting.

Weenie.

Weasel.

Whiner.

Wastrel.

Warped.

War criminal.

Worst president ever.

Agree with you totally!! I found your website while casually browsing for Janet Ruth Gilbert Natural Woman Milwaukee Wisconsin...thank you for including information about that. It seems that so much of that history and time is being buried and/or rewritten...times change but the stories are what we pass on and to omit or alter is to change the legacy...Marilyn Scholl took alot of photos at the time and Jennie Orvino both photographer and poet has audios of her poetry readings in California...the gallery was really highly successful for a time with art reviews receiving front page coverage in the Sunday Arts section of the Milwaukee Journal-James Auer, art critic ...an interview was done at the opening with Dean Jensen of the Milwaukee, "Space to Grow" with Ms. Gilbert...there were also community dance productions choreographed by now quite successful Dr. Sue Spalding...so, although I agree that Nova's and Karen's Battered Woman project was one of the most significant achievements of the feminist movement of the period, the other, less dramatic and violent side had its impact on the city as well...the Women's Studies Dept of Madison seems to have eliminated all mention of these activities in their curriculum...perhaps they need a reminider of who really were the movers and shakers of the movement, not only in Wisconsin but throughout the country...thank you so much for at least documenting something...we are all getting older, we shouldn't let our history be lost, no matter what choices we made later...it was good and helped alot of women and men...there is and was nothing to be ashamed of...thanks again and good luck!!

I found your blog cause i was like, "hey it would be cool to have blog on blogger called blog jam! " So way to go great stuff! Your voice trembles the words I have always been scared to say! Please keep writing it make me want to pep up my writing skills! Good day to you! I will come back again soon! Bush is an evil man for wanting to drill in the natural preserves! IT is sad to see a leader taking a country in such bad direction. I fear for the future of America and the world!

Maybe someone smart will lead our country into the future of farming and using the power of the sun to produce products that are made here. Fresh foods fresh products would do wonders for America! Plus the plants would help clean the air.

WE need to shut the door a little to world trade and grow the energy crops here. We have to start using a green energy source before we pollute the earth to the point of no coming back!

We need to get back to land and the water and start taking better care of what we eat and breath! We could grow Sugar cane or hemp! Both could be great crops for america!
Lets all work for a better future!
